Who Will Play Kate Kavanagh and Elliot Grey?

To put it politely, the casting choices for Anastasia Steele and Christian Grey’s roles in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie did not exactly wow the book’s fans.

Also to put it politely, Dakota Johnson and Charlie Hunnam have been cast as Ana and Christian and there’s no petition or whining that will change it.

However, the question of who will play key supporting characters Kate Kavanagh and Elliot Grey is still unanswered, and may offer readers some hope.

Elliot is Christian’s older brother, so that probably rules out a lot of young hunks people wanted to see as Christian. Hunnam himself is 33 years old.

A mature, yet still good-looking actor: Any ideas?

Chris Hemsworth has been rumored, but he’s likely too young (30) and/or too famous. Then again, he would certainly add some star power to the movie.

As for Ana’s best friend Kate, younger actresses like Blake Lively or Katie Cassidy would fit the blond, gorgeous, young, and sexy mold she requires.
