Her birth was announced in grand style as her father broke the news on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno. Sandler’s birth was not an easy one for her mother as it was heralded with bouts of sickness, which left the newly born’s elder sister worried.
Sandler’s father revealed the state of his wife while pregnant with Sunny Sandler. He said: “She’s very sick, she’s going through a lot. You, women, know the deal. My wife gets it very bad, she vomits a lot morning, afternoon, and the whole deal. My little daughter is always looking at her and is nervous to see her mom sick like that. So I had to try to relax [Sadie] and say,’ Mommy’s not bad sick. She just has something growing in her that’s eventually going to shoot out her vagina and take half your toys!’ That relaxed her.”
Over the years, the youngest Sandler has followed in her parents’ footsteps and has become an actress, making her screen debut in the 2010 release of ‘Grown Ups’, which was also her first film appearance alongside her father.
The child actress made her debut as an actress in 2012’s ‘Hotel Transylvania’. She also appeared in the film’s sequels in 2015 and 2018.
