List of All Lightsaber Stance Styles in Star Wars Jedi Survivor
Below are the Lightsaber Stance Styles to pick up from. Remember, you can equip any Two stance style at a time. If you feel like rotating around a bit, you will need to meditate to change your stance slot.
Lightsaber Stance Style | How to Get |
---|---|
Single Blade | Default |
Dual Wield | Default |
Double Blade | Default |
Cross Guard Blade | Shattered Moon – Research Tanalorr |
Blaster and Blade | Jedha – Rendezvous with Cere’s Contact |
Single Blade
Single Blade Lightsaber Stance is sure the most common one in the bag. This stance offers both one-handed and two-handed strikes that come with the ability to deflect incoming blaster fire. Moreover, you will have the option to toss the saber at mid-range targets as well.
The Single Blade stance also provides a good balance between offense and defense for various enemies. Its attacks are quick, with shorter attack animations, reducing vulnerability to enemy hits. However, it may not deal the highest damage or hit multiple targets, but its thrust attack can inflict significant stamina damage to break the enemy’s guard. Let’s see the skills that come with this stance style.
Skills | Perks | Skill Point |
---|---|---|
Aerial Ace | Aerial Assault does more damage and staggers enemies hit by it. | 1 |
Aerial Dash Strike | Perform Dash Strike while airborne. | 1 |
Lunging Strike | Perform a long-reaching thrust attack. | 1 |
Improved Footwork | Lunging Strike now reaches further. | 1 |
Twofold Reflection | Reflect up to two blaster projectiles in a row. | 1 |
Dash Strike | Dash and strike a target out of normal melee range. | 2 |
Charged Throw | Stronger lightsaber throw that hits for more damage and moves a short distance through the target. | 2 |
Cyclone Slash | Perform a powerful overhead swing. | 2 |
Aerial Assault | Attack straight down at a target below. | 2 |
Dual Wield
The Dual Wield Lightsaber Stance has a higher skill ceiling and increased risk of taking damage if caught off-guard. This stance allows for swift and aggressive attacks while still providing the ability to guard or dodge incoming threats. This is handy, as the stance leaves you more vulnerable to enemy strikes.
Veterans looking for a challenge will enjoy its nature, perfect for taking down quick enemies or powering through slow opponents. You can consider pairing it with Double Blade or Cross Guard stances. Let’s get through the skills:
Skills | Perks | Skill Point |
---|---|---|
Backstep Slash | Attack and leap backward, creating distance from the target. | 1 |
Focused Parry | Perform a spinning strike. | 1 |
Serpent’s Bite | Execute a strong final overhead swing. | 1 |
Uncoiled Strikes | Perform a flurry of quick, targeted swings. | 2 |
Split Reflection | Deflect right as a blaster bolt hits to split and reflect. | 2 |
Twin Vipers | Throw the second blade at a target to double up the damage. | 2 |
Precision Release | Perform a more devastating follow-up attack and stagger enemies. | 2 |
Dancing Blades | Throw both lightsabers that bounce between multiple targets. | 3 |
Double Blade
The Double-Bladed Lightsaber Staff Stance is reliable for taking out swarms of enemies, especially those with low defense stat. It allows you to hit multiple targets at close and medium range by tossing your lightsaber in a circle around you.
However, the charging takes a moment to succeed during attacks. That will leave you vulnerable to enemy strikes. Needless to say, timing your strikes is crucial, along with using force powers to keep enemies locked down. Let’s see its skills:
Skills | Perks | Skill Point |
---|---|---|
Gathering Tempest | Single enemy fast strikes | 1 |
Vortex Dive | Forward spinning lightsaber dive | 1 |
Double Orbit | Second lightsaber throw around Cal | 1 |
Endless Hurricane | Additional attacks to double-bladed attack chain | 1 |
Repulsing Burst | Airborne slam dealing area damage | 2 |
Rising Storm | Pull enemies in a small area and take Cal into the air | 2 |
Multifold Reflections | Reflect blaster shots back toward nearby targets | 2 |
Controlled Throw | Maintain the lightsaber position and move it around | 2 |
Cross Guard Blade
The Cross Guard Stance is a slow but powerful stance style that may require some strategy to make it effective in combat. You can perform devastating strikes that can take out weaker enemies in only a few hits. However, it requires precise spacing and timing to reach its full potential due to its short range and slow windup. Nevertheless, it offers a stronger defense than other stances.
It’s best to pair it with a faster, more defensive stance like the Single Blade or Double Blade stance style to balance the slow attacks. However, you should be on guard when using it against some bosses, as they may be able to exploit the slow windup. That will eventually leave you open to attacks. The skill tree is below:
Skills | Perks | Skill Point |
---|---|---|
Rending Strike | Perform a single, high-damage swing with a long windup. | 1 |
Greater Impact | Increased shockwave range. | 1 |
Greater Cleaving Swing | Reduces focus attack charge-up time. | 1 |
Charged Reflection | Act right before a bolt makes contact to send back a charged bolt that hits the target and nearby enemies. | 1 |
Reaching Cleave | Increases range of Cleaving Swing. | 1 |
Sundering Swipe | Perform a wide, sweeping lightsaber attack. | 2 |
Rolling Thunder | Throw the lightsaber in a line through multiple targets. | 2 |
Impact | While airborne, it slams into the ground, causing a shockwave. | 2 |
Blaster & Blade
Now, this stance style is quite a new one in Star Wars Jedi: Survivor. The game introduces the blaster, a gun you can equip alongside a single-bladed lightsaber in combat. Quite challenging to take down pesky ranged units quickly, yet there is fun. However, the blaster has a cooldown. Moreover, the lightsaber in this stance is less versatile that allows only outward strikes similar to fencing.
The blaster in this stance is perfect for dealing with multiple ranged threats. It will help lower your opponent’s health during a fight. Though not the best option for sniping from afar, but moving in close can give you enough time and space to replenish ammo. In the meantime, keep swinging the lightsaber. Quite obvious that it is crucial to find a balance between the two. However, this stance style can make it easier for players to take out stalking targets behind the front lines.
Skills | Perks | Skill Point |
---|---|---|
Flying Lunge | Close the distance to your enemy with a leaping thrust. | 1 |
Blaster Cooldown | Gain additional ammunition each time you strike an enemy with the lightsaber. | 1 |
Improved Clip | Increase maximum blaster ammunition by three. | 1 |
Point Blank | Act just before an enemy hits to blast them away. | 1 |
Efficient Heat Transfer | Reduces time required to fully charge a blaster shot. | 2 |
Energizing Flurry | Perform a sequence of quick swings that rapidly replenish ammunition if they connect. | 3 |
Quick Draw | Focus and target multiple enemies at once with the blaster. | 3 |
