Her game-day appearances have made her as famous as her shot blocking has done so far in her rookie season in the WNBA. Enough to warrant her a chance to meet Los Angeles Dodgers superstar Shohei Ohtani. But something from that meeting ended up being talked about on social media.

Before today’s game against the Arizona Diamondbacks, MLB’s biggest superstar met the Sparks’ newest rookie. The meeting was made possible by New Balance, who sponsors both Shohei Ohtani and Brink. When they met, they greeted each other. Then Brink asked Ohtani who was taller, to which he replied it was her.

The moment Ohtani said this, Cameron Brink broke out giggling. Suggesting that she did not expect to hear that from Ohtani. Ohtani’s wife, Mamiko Tanaka is a former basketball player. Much like Brink, she too played the center position. Which is why there was a mutual appreciation between the two. Brink talked about possibly making the Olympics, where she could meet Tanaka.

Brink and her fellow Los Angeles Sparx rookie Rickea Jackson then followed it up by throwing their first pitches at Dodger Stadium. But after the dust settled, fans watching the video were left confused with the Los Angeles Dodgers superstar.
