Several families displaced after Nampa apartment fire

NAMPA, Idaho (CBS2) — A dozen apartments were damaged or affected by a Nampa area apartment complex fire Thursday.
The fire broke out just after 7 a.m. nearOrchard Avenue with fire and smoke showing from the third floor at the back of the complex.
It was controlled at about 7:45 a.m. and two firefighters suffered minor injuries, but were released back to duty.
The cause of the fire was discarded cigarette on back patio that was discarded in an improper container, Nampa Fire told CBS2.
