PotHole Fire suppressed, mapped at 69,940 acres

HAMMETT, Idaho (CBS 2) — Pot Hole Fire grew nearly 70,000 acres in 6 hours on Tuesday. Active fire has been suppressed by crews about 14 miles south of Hammett, Idaho, near the Saylor Creek Range.
Crews and Resources that responded: Saylor Creek Rangeland Protection Association (RFPA), Three Creek RFPA, King Hill Rural Fire Department, United States Air Force Engine 101, 14 engines, three dozers, two water tenders, one camp crew, one type two hand crew, ten overhead.
There were no structures threatened and the cause of the fire is currently under investigation.
